TUKU Māori Winemakers Collective is launched

New Zealand had 677 wine producers at the last count. Each wine brand has a different story to tell but only those who shout loud enough are going to get their message across.

One way to amplify the message is to join up with those who have a comparable message and pool resources. The Family of Twelve is one example of this successful formula at work, Marlborough Natural Winegrowers (MANA) is another. Regional groups such as Hawke’s Bay Vintners and Central Otago Pinot Noir Ltd (COPNL) perform a similar function.
