TUKU member Kuru Kuru Wines has achieved BioGro organic certification for its Bendigo estate in Central Otago.
It formalises a long commitment. Hayden Johnston and his team have farmed Bendigo without synthetic inputs since 2008, so the certification recognises the way the land has been looked after for nearly two decades.
The news comes in a strong year for Kuru Kuru. Cameron Douglas MS recently scored the Tarras 'The Canyon' Single Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021 96 points, calling it "Outstanding".
