TUKU member te Pā Family Vineyards has had a big October.
The te Pā 2024 Reserve Seaside Sauvignon Blanc won a Trophy and a Gold medal, with 95 points, at the 2026 International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) in London. Nearly 4,000 wines from 39 countries were judged, and only 3% received gold.
A few days earlier, the te Pā 2024 Chardonnay was named Champion Chardonnay at the New World Wine Awards, alongside a Gold medal and a place in the Top 30.
"The wine is a special one for me," says founder Haysley MacDonald of the Seaside Sauvignon Blanc.
Both wines come from te Pā's vineyards in Marlborough, where the MacDonald whānau's connection to the land reaches back 800 years.
Ngā mihi nui ki te whānau o te Pā.
